Vote for your favourite Global Read!
On Monday the 1st of February, National Book Tokens launched the GLOBAL READS campaign to raise £10,000 for Book Aid International. Launched to coincide with their new Electronic Gift Card, the money raised will be used to distribute 5,000 books across 12 countries in sub-Saharan Africa.
The campaign asks people from across the world to vote for their favourite global read via www.globalreads.co.uk - a book that changed their perception of another country or introduced them to a different culture. Book lovers visiting the GLOBAL READS website will be encouraged to invite friends to participate in the campaign and share the chance to win a new Gift Card to help National Book Tokens raise up to £10,000 for Book Aid International.
